Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
Associate of Applied Science degrees are career technical in nature and are intended primarily to lead students directly to employment in a specific career. Occupational licensure, career advancement and further study at a four-year college or university are additional opportunities for students earning an AAS degree. Associate of Applied Science degrees are awarded to students who complete the requirements of a specified, two-year career and technical program and are offered in a number of interest areas (see Degree Programs).
